Favorite animal - No favorites, I love them all!!!

Why did you choose this profession? I have always loved animals. I
choose
this career because
I love to help animals and everyday is something
new. This career is never boring and you are
always learning! I started
as a kennel attendant in 1985 when I was 15 years old. I was trained
by
a certified technician who taught me everything I know. Now 20 years
later, I work as a nurse.
I have completed some courses on line, but
most of my experience is on the job training. In my
free time I enjoy
spending time with my 3 girls and
supporting my husband at the local
race tracks.
Hobbies - Pets, family and racing.

Adopted -
August 2007
Number of pets - 7 cats 2 dogs and 2 horses
Why did you choose this profession? I originally got my degree in
Equine Science but realized that
there weren't a lot of opportunities
with horses. I started working with small animals here a while
ago and
left for a brief time to work with horses again. I couldn't stay away
from the dogs and
cats and that brought me back here to PVH.

Why did you
choose this profession?
I received my
bachelors degree in
biology
from Millersville University. I have always had a variety of
animals
growing up and decided to go
the route of animal care rather than people since
I was very
passionate about animal related course work. I am currently attended
online
schooling to become a certified veterinary technician.
