Why did you choose this profession? My love for animals and my
background
in
business lead me to my current role. I was born in York, PA and raised
around
many different types of animals. While obtaining my Health
Service
Administration/Business
Degree from Slippery Rock University, I worked
at an
Arabian Horse Farm owned and
operated by a veterinarian. Once I
received my
degree, I worked as a business
manager for several years in the long
term
health care industry. I followed my
passion and love for animals and became the
business manager for
Patton Veterinary Hospital.
Hobbies - Hiking, biking, reading, gardening, and anything outdoors
with my
pets.

Love

snakes.
Number of pets - Also, to many to count!
Why did you choose this profession? Fostering kittens / cats for over
15 years
lead me to working in an animal shelter where I fostered canines /
felines.
This included working with several rescue groups that included a boxer
rescue
and an all breeds rescue. I've always wanted to work for a
veterinarian, and
after relocating, I found myself at The Patton Veterinary Hospital as
their
Behavior Coordinator. This was the best move I ever made!
Hobbies - Photography, collecting enamelware and spending time with my
critters

Why did you choose this profession? This career came as an accident. I
didn't know
what I wanted to do with my life and then this job came
along. I never would
have dreamed that I would love it so much animals
have always been a
part of my life. As a child I've been around many
animals from cattle and
rabbits to cats and dogs. Now into my adult
life, my focus is mainly on
cats and dogs. I also had the opportunity
to work with horses once and
found it very rewarding. Over the years I
have found being a
Veterinary Technician / Nurse to be a very
fulfilling experience.
Hobbies - Reading, cross stitching and the outdoors.
