Sam

Sam Vega joined Patton’s Animal Care team in August 2019. Sam loves animals and wants to be able to care for them and ultimately make a difference working with wild animals in conservation. Sam has three pets, Bronx, Luna and a foster named Raven and she also volunteers with Feline Solutions Cat Rescue. She lives in York and is a graduate of Dallastown High School and Kutztown University. She is currently enrolled in the veterinary assistant program at U.S. Career Institute.

Sam loves to travel and would love to visit all the states and as many countries as she can. She has already had the opportunity to travel to England and says her favorite state is California.

Sam has “been inspired by different animal [and] wildlife activists to be the voice for mistreated animals.” She wants to “pursue a career where I can travel the world and help to protect endangered wildlife as well as help animals here at home.” We hope that Sam will achieve her dreams and we are proud that she has joined our staff!
