Amy joined Patton Veterinary Hospital as a client relations specialist in August 2024, coming to us from Gainesville, FL. She has always felt a deep connection with animals, finding them to be more receptive to kindness and calmness than people. Her love for animals inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary care, a lifelong dream that led her to PVH. Amy feels incredibly fortunate to work with such a great establishment and amazing, friendly staff.
At home, Amy shares her apartment with Frieza, her aloof tabby cat, who mostly sees her as the “food bringer.” Frieza is an oddball who loves playing with bouncy balls and crinkly toys.
In her free time, Amy enjoys fossil hunting, reading romance novels, playing video games, and watching TV. If she had a day entirely to herself, she would spend it at Calvert Cliffs in Maryland, searching for fossilized shark teeth—one of her favorite pastimes.
Amy’s bucket list includes petting some of her favorite animals, such as a wolf, a red panda, an otter, and a big cat. She graduated from Dallastown Area High School in 2016 and completed some semesters at HACC York Campus, studying history. After struggling to find a job that truly suited her personality and skill set, Amy is thrilled to have found her place working with animals at PVH.
