Katrina is a graduate of Central York High School and attended York College of PA as a biology major. She joined Patton Veterinary Hospital’s Client Relations staff in August 2019. Katrina states she chose this career because “working with animals has always been [her] passion,” and Patton specifically because she, “job shadowed here in high school and was a loyal customer. Animals have always been…my dream to be happy in my career.” She has fostered cats learning a lot in the process and she says that her goal is to continue to learn and grow in the veterinary field and in herself.
Katrina has rescued a number of pets in need including a German Shepherd/Heeler mix named Wonder Woman and several cats including Savannah the Bengal, Clark Kent, Eggs, and twin orange tabbies named Stubbs and Morris. Katrina volunteers her time as a foster with Feline Solution and she loves to spend her free time camping. Katrina’s bucket list included a trip to Niagara Falls which she was able to cross off but she would still love to swim with dolphins someday.
We are proud to have Katrina as part of our staff and we will try to remember one of her favorite quotes when things don’t go as planned: “And in time, this too shall pass.”
