Beth Shelby

Beth joined our hospital as a veterinary technician in January 2018. Beth is a certified veterinary technician with a degree from Wilson College. She has also taken some canine rehabilitation classes at the University of Tennessee. Beth joined the veterinary field because of her love of animals, science and helping people.

She has many pets including several cats named Able, QD and Sammy, two dogs—Nola, a terrier-cattle dog mix and Nika a Leonberger—and a Kenyan Sand Boa Constrictor named Patty O’Boa. She would love to add a cockatiel and an Eastern Blue Tongue Skink to the family. When not working or caring for her menagerie, Beth enjoys relaxing with family, attending concerts, watching SciFi movies or documentaries and reading novels by Robert Ludlum or Anna Sewell. Beth also volunteers with Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA).

We are excited to have Beth bring her years of experience and expertise in animals to our staff at Patton Veterinary Hospital and we hope you will join us in welcoming her to our team!
