Adopted: May 2009
Number of pets: 2 dogs

Krista Harbold joined the Patton Veterinary Hospital Staff in May 2009.  She holds a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Millersville University and originally intended to find work as a laboratory technician.  But with a lifelong passion for both animals and science, Krista was fortunate enough to combine both of her interests.  Krista became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) after completing an Associates Degree of Science in Veterinary Technology from San Juan College; and passed the VTNE boards examination in August 2017.

Krista is constantly completing continuing education to stay up to date on the latest technology and medical care advances.  He passions include behavior, dentistry, internal medicine, and exotics.  As our Fear Free Advocate, she has dedicated her extra time to helping Patton changing veterinary visits and medical care into a lower stress environment that is more pleasant for the patients.

In her free time, she enjoys camping, running, gardening, and hiking with her beloved Vizslas Cooper and Tess.  But she is always eager to return to Patton and the animals depending on her.  “My heart goes out to the hospitalized patients” she says “You just look forward to seeing them and helping them feel better.”
