Stephanie rejoined Patton Veterinary Hospital in December 2022, but her journey with PVH actually began years earlier when she started working in the kennel at just 16. It was during that time that she fell in love with veterinary medicine, and PVH has always held a special place in her heart. Over the course of her career, she has gained valuable experience in emergency medicine, but she ultimately realized that her true passion lies in general practice. Returning to PVH feels like coming full circle, and she’s thrilled to be back where her career first began.
Stephanie is driven by her deep love for animals, a passion that has been with her since childhood. Growing up, she always had pets, and she knows that she always will. She especially enjoys bonding with her patients, watching them grow over the years, and working with fearful pets to help them feel safe and comfortable. For her, it’s all about building that special connection with both the animals and their owners.
At home, Stephanie lives with her two birds, Allie and Noah, her cat, Charlie, and her “sweet angel baby,” Calliope, a Cocker Spaniel mix. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading and cuddling on the couch with her dog. If she had a free day, she’d love to spend it at a Pitbull shelter, though she’s not sure she’d want to leave!
Stephanie graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School and is currently pursuing her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential through Penn Foster. Her bucket list includes traveling the world and adopting a senior dog. She firmly believes that if you’re doing what you love, it doesn’t feel like work, and for her, it’s all about the outcome, not the income.
