Nurse Tabitha Clark joined the PVH staff in October 2005. A graduate of Red Lion High School, Tabitha attended York College for two years and has also taken online courses in veterinary care through Penn Foster. While veterinary nursing is her primary field, she also has experience as a grooming assistant, kennel care worker, and even helped out for a time at a local horse farm. She currently serves as outpatient coordinator for PVH.
A lifelong animal lover, Tabitha enjoys working side by side with the doctors in a hands-on effort to improve the health of ailing pets. She finds her reward in the times when she is able to play an active role in their healing. She also stresses the need for preventative care, a need which can be satisfied through education.
“I feel like I’m learning all the time,” she says. “There’s something new every day.”
Tabitha believes that the educational aspect of her work gives her an ongoing opportunity to pass on everything she has learned. She regularly participates in career days at local schools, with presentations that teach children how to become responsible pet owners. She was also instrumental in creating the PVH Kids Club, and is always involved in organizing the club meetings.
