Kayla joined the Patton Veterinary Hospital staff in November, 2018 as a veterinary assistant. She is from Spring Grove and a graduate of York County School of Technology. She is currently
enrolled in Penn Foster’s online program to earn her associates degree in veterinary technology. Kayla says she has a “passion for animals” and wants a career that offers something she can
“grow with and continue learning.”
Kayla currently has two dogs, Hank and Bailey but she would go for the exotic if she could have any animal as a pet citing a zebra as her choice! Kayla enjoys the outdoors and loves
gardening, horseback riding and spending time with her son. She also likes watching movies and The Hangover and Pure Country are her favorites. She has an adventurous spirit and looks forward
to traveling to parts unknown as part of her bucket list.
Kayla’s favorite quote comes from author Gail Sheehy, “If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living.” We are thrilled to share Kayla’s journey of growth and
change in the veterinary field at PVH!
