Everyone loves a chunky puppy, right? Well as cute as that chunky puppy is – it grows up to be an overweight, chunky dog! Keeping your dog at a healthy weight and body condition is one of the most important things you can do for him. Dogs that are overweight or obese are more at risk for diseases, such as diabetes, and can have extra arthritis pain from carrying all of that extra weight.

Dogs have a natural instinct to hunt for their food so you can help satisfy that urge by hiding small amounts of kibble throughout the house for your dog to find. There are also many types of feeding toys and puzzles that are made specifically for dogs – try a couple of them so that you can find out which kind our dog likes best.
